Marley & Daycare (ABC Blocks Preschool/Daycare)
Incident #2 - You decided it was a bad day, kicked and screamed until they decided they neededme to talk to you over the phone. I got you to calm down and finish the day off, nicely.
Incident #3 - This has to be the most embarassing one. Just now, Miss Cory called to let me know that you taught the class the word "nigger". Now, let me start off by telling you that we call you a "sneaker". Why? Because you're sneaky! You're always climbing into cabinets to sneak a snack or finding candy and hiding out to devour it. You are by nature our little sneaker which YOU pronouce "snigger". This is how you came up with it. Daddy and I need to ensure you don't say this again. Take a look at this picture of you today. You're beautiful, amazing, and full of life. I can't imagine my life without you.
Love,
Mommy

And she is almost 3...

What happened to the time? Marley is almost 3 now and boy is she crazier than ever! She will melt you with a smile but slap you in the face before you can let the smile subside. She is loved by so many people; all of which include the local Starbucks baristas that she yells "THANK YOU" to for making her the wonderful kids chocolate milk.
Marley is doing really well in daycare. We've had a couple of phone calls about her temper tantrums and disrupting class. Since I've talked to her about not doing this, she's been doing well. I think she is just testing everyone to see what her limits are...still.

20 Months and Counting!
Rockstar Face!
Dancing like there is no tomorrow.
Post pig tailsMarley has been so much fun lately. She's so close to putting sentences together and is sure to let us know what she wants with the point of a finger. It's difficult having to sit back and realize just how fast time passes. She's growing rapidly and adding so much more joy to life. I'm sure you will see just that in her new pictures.
Things she does now, that melts my heart and the heart of many in her life:
*Roll call in the morning. This is when she sits up in her crib and yells "Mommy" and then "Daddy" until we respond to her.
*Muckles!! Her term for knuckles. Good luck getting past her without actually giving her "muckles". "Pais", her word for a high five.
*Rambling on and on about nothing at all. This is her attempt at having a conversation. I enjoy it and play along, so does everyone else.
* Rock star Face - see photo above for an example.
A few more: Counting in Spanish, "crazy-baby" - head shaking back and forth, Elmo, yelling for grandpa at random times, copying words she shouldn't be, last but not least her love for BANANAS! When you want to see her smile, offer her one, she'll glow like the Northern Lights. Oh how fun she is at 20 months, almost 21!
